Happy, Joyous, and Free

We are sure God wants us to be happy, joyous, and free.
We cannot subscribe to the belief that this life is a vale of tears,
though it once was just that for many of us.
But it is clear that we made our own misery. God didn't do it.
Avoid then, the deliberate manufacture of misery, but if trouble comes,
cheerfully capitalize it as an opportunity to demonstrate His omnipotence.

Thought to Ponder....

Joy isn't the absence of pain - it's the presence of God.

Hi! My name is Tim, and I'm an alcoholic.

Tomorrow is my Five-year anniversary. This is my second time with a five year... thank goodness the doors of AA are OPEN doors.

In the last five years of sobriety, I was in a car accident and paralyzed from the mid-chest down, AND had cancer in my neck. Talk about living life on life's terms!

But through it all, the lessons I have learned, the stories I have listened to, I have been able to cope, even thrive, thanks to AA.

Always remember, it works if you work it.

Thank you and God bless you all.
