AA Thought for the Day

Peace of Mind

I came to AA believing that all it had to offer was not drinking.
My plan was to learn how not to drink;
then I would be able to get honest with a professional counselor
and find my "deep-rooted problems."
But in doing the simple things the people in AA said to do
in order to keep from picking up a drink,
I discovered that they took care of all my other problems.
It never occurred to me that the realization that
"I'm an alcoholic and need to go to AA"
followed by continued action would be all I would need
to find the peace of mind I had always been looking for.

Thought to Ponder....

Happiness and peace of mind are always here,
