AA Thought for the Day

This is the magic of recovery;
when one alcoholic tries to help another,
God is there,
inspiring one with just the right words
to do some serious good.
That's why meetings can be so amazing.
At times, I have sat in meetings
and heard God speaking directly to me,
answering my thoughts through the words
of another person's sharing.

Thought to Ponder....

The ankle-biters of everyday struggles
will eat away at me
unless I go to meetings and share.
