Victory
Alcoholics Anonymous has offered me something
I never thought I was capable of -- victory.
For each day is a symbol of my victory over fear,
pride, anger, and selfishness.
AA has granted me love, forgiveness, accountability,
truth and serenity --
all the things I was either running away from
or in desperate search of
every time I took that first drink.
Thought to Ponder....
The Program was a dazzling gem
being dangled before my eyes.
