Fear

The problem of resolving fear has two aspects.
We shall have to try for all the freedom from fear
that is possible for us to attain.
Then we shall need to find the courage and the grace
to deal constructively with whatever fears remain.

Thought to Ponder....

We found that freedom from fear
was more important than freedom from want.

Hi, I'm Peggy, and I am an alcoholic.

When I first came to the rooms of AA, I was fearful of everything and everyone, but I wouldn't let you know that. Inside I was sick and spiritually bankrupt. What I found was love and understanding, as well as a God of my understanding who was patient and loving; not against me and waiting to punish me. What I really was so fearful of, was looking at me. Working the Steps with a wonderful sponsor and going to meetings and trying to help others when they ask for it, has helped me to get through most of those fears and has given me a better life than I ever imagined.

Thank you for being there for me and letting me share. AA Love, Peggy.
