Carrying The Message

Life will take on new meaning.
To watch people recover, to see them help others,
to watch loneliness vanish,
to see a fellowship grow up about you,
to have a host of friends --
this is an experience you must not miss.
We know you will not want to miss it.
Frequent contact with newcomers and with each other
is the bright spot of our lives.

My name is Brian, and I'm an alcoholic.

Thank you for providing this daily reminder of sobriety. It has helped me out very much, even during my last relapse. I am now in a halfway house, trying to get this right. I print out the Daily Thought every day, and pass it around to the other guys in the house. Everyone looks forward to reading it, and it really gives us something to think about during the day. Again, thanks for taking the time to send this out to all us recovering alcoholics. Speaking for myself, it has really helped.
