Sharing

Life will take on new meaning.
To watch people recover, to see them help others,
to watch loneliness vanish,
to see a fellowship grow up about you,
to have a host of friends --
this is an experience you must not miss.
We know you will not want to miss it.
Frequent contact with newcomers and with each other
is the bright spot of our lives.

A Member Shares...

My name is Bobby, and I'm an alcoholic.

The joy of sharing is part of my AA living program. The 24-hour Daily Reflections book tells me that there is a great difference between the Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee. In the Dead Sea there is no outlet, so the water gets murky and dark and it drives living things to perish. Whereas the Sea of Galilee, there is an open way out, waters remain clear, and many fishes and other sea creatures happily thrive. The more I share myself in whatever way to other members of AA by attending meetings, e- mails, writing letters, telephone, person to person sharing, the more my spiritual life is replenished. Thanks for the opportunity to share. God bless, and may your joy of service be rewarded with deeper sobriety and recovery.
