AA Thought for the Day

Growth

As a part of my annual personal inventory,
I realized that I had not succeeded in developing
a spiritual depth in my program.
I had accepted what I was taught but had not gone in search
of the private growth that I saw in others.
I watched for and found people
who take the program with them as they live, work and play
in the real world.
Through their leadership, by precept and example,
I am finding the daily excitement essential
to my development as a person and to my contact
with my Higher Power.

Thought to Ponder....

Growing old is inevitable,
growing up is optional,
growing spiritually is up to you.
