My spiritual awakening was of the educational variety.
I realized that in the few years I'd been in AA,
my reaction to life had undergone
a profound change.
I have an inner resource I did not have before sobriety.
I spend time with people I care about,
I am doing my fair share of the work,
I am not lying and stealing, and I share myself.
I am responsible. . .
Over time I have learned to live and love and laugh
more and more in sobriety.
