Self-will

The first requirement is that we be convinced
that any life run on self-will can hardly be a success.
On that basis we are almost always in collision
with something or somebody,
even though our motives are good.
Most people try to live by self-propulsion.

I'm Don, an alcoholic.

There is so much freedom when I surrender and let go. I have learned whatever I have tried to control, it has ended up controlling me. Not only am I powerless over alcohol, I am powerless over people, places, and things. Let go and let God is the way to live for this recovering alcoholic.
